Our clients had carried out major renovations to their beautiful traditional style home on a busy street in Edinburgh, the works had taken the toll on the existing driveway which became unsafe as it was so uneven.
As they were situated on a busy main commuting road they found it difficult to get in and out easily and with two cars had to shuffle around to ensure the right car was at the front to get out first in the morning! Sound familiar?
We provided a solution to ensure both cars could park with ease whilst keeping a traditional feel to enhance the stone frontage. We discussed and decided upon a gravel surface set into a stabilising system to hold it in place providing a porous, low maintenance surface; the reclaimed cobble circle features give an element of simple yet effective style to the project to break up the gravel expanse.
The addition of easy to care for plants, conifers and trees soften the garden and will provide privacy in years to come.
