Large Garden Renovation, Walling & Garden Design, Edinburgh

Natural Stone · Ethically Sourced · Lawn

Lisa was sad to learn that this young family had never used their garden as it was so impractical to do so. The site was sloping every which way and there was not a single, flat space to sit or play on.The previous owner had obviously spent money trying to do something with the garden but the complexity of the site needed expert input in order to get it right. In most cases the garden is the biggest space in and around the home - this was something we clearly needed to help put right!

We designed a garden which gave multiple layers to ensure the finished result was practical, stylish and would be used by the whole family. This was a complex and major build: we excavated the entire area and rebuilt it; including a flat lawn area for the kids to play and spaces to site garden furniture for the family to enjoy sunny meals al-fresco and for them to relax in, whilst incorporating the five access points in and out of the garden.

We used organic shapes to create the spaces and the step level-changes - with stunning results. The materials used were ethically sourced Sandstone paving, Kerbstone edgings and Tobermore walling.

As with all of our projects, the redesign and build came with a guarantee - if you would like to find out more about this, please do get in touch.

In addition to the walling, we also completed planting design to fit with the new layout and lawns.
